Concert Schedule for 2021 |
Christmas
in New England going virtual
once again for 2021
Message from the cast of CINE:
Hello Friends of
Christmas in New England,
After much careful consideraton in determining the safest way to hold our Christmas concerts, we have decided that our show will be virtual again this year. We are currently working hard on bringing this beautiful, joyful, and spiritual music with you. We have performed so many songs over the years that finding a new group of songs for this year came easy! We will also include an "encore performance" or two from last year's show.
One of our members, Ken Taylor, retired and moved to Florida a couple months ago. We will certainly miss the great songs, good humor, and spirit Ken brought to the shows. Thanks Kenny!! Please join Amy Gallatin, Karen Wilber, Roger Williams, Dave Dick, and Krissy & Bob Dick in celebrating the season with our unique blend of music.
Now
for the details. We will be using Eventgroove as our host again this year.
This is how we will provide you with the video of our show:
You can now go to https://events.eventgroove.com/event/Christmas-In-New-England-57928
to purchase tickets. Tickets sales are available through December
31 and are $15 plus a small processing fee. We will be donating a
portion of the proceeds to our 3 home churches in Rockdale, Glastonbury, and
Boxborough. If you wish to make an extra donation for the churches that have
supported our live shows, there is a place to do so on the site.
Upon purchase you will be asked to provide your email address. Eventgroove will send you an email by December 18th which will include a link to view the show. Be sure to keep that email so you have access to the show. Simply open the email, click the link, and enjoy the show!
Our show will be available December 18 at 7PM through December 31. You can view the show as many times as you wish. We do ask that you do not share the link with others, that would be like giving away the performance for free. However, feel free to share the Eventgroove website address with others that may enjoy the show.
If you have any issues viewing the show, you can email Bob through the Eventgroove website by using the “Contact Event Organizer” link. We hope you enjoy the show and hope we can get to live indoor concerts in 2022. Thanks for your support!
In other news, Amy Gallatin still has copies of her 2020 release, a Christmas album featuring 20 of her favorite tunes, many of which have been presented at the shows. The CD features, of course, Roger Williams and members of the CINE cast, and also award-winning Canadian fiddler Ray Legere and Amy's "girl group" The Hot Flashes. Sneak preview here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDYmOUzR_Uc .

Cast member Bob Dick also released an album of new Christmas material (so much pent-up creativity!) which will also feature the songs from his first Christmas CD Tidings of Comfort and Joy. Contact Bob at aplandbob@aol.com or visit his website at www.applelandmusic.com/ for more info.
